"Fate brought us together. Not just Dana and I, but us with Mike from Music Magic. Mike met his wife at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. Dana and I met at the Mall of America, too. Mike graduated from the same college as Dana and I. Mike is a huge Twins fan. We are huge Twins fans. Mike moved to Indiana. We moved to Indiana. All of these things, yet never had we met Mike until we looked for our wedding DJ and then all the stars aligned to make our date work. He came highly recommended from our venue. We called Mike and he informed us that our date was already taken by another couple, but Mike still followed through a month later to make sure we were being well taken care of by the DJ he recommended to us. Two months later our DJ had an emergency and had to cancel. We contacted Mike immediately to see if he had another recommendation. By some miracle that day Mike's clients for our date called and moved their date to a winter date. That meant we got Mike for our big day!
From the moment Mike met us outside to line us up for our grand march intro until the stroke of midnight Mike had our night perfectly orchestrated. Our wedding party loved Mike's infectious humor and our parents wanted to adopt him into our family (no joke, they are probably adding him into their wills as we speak). EVERYONE danced and Mike accommodated everyone's musical choices. Our photographer said Mike was the best to work with. Our venue supervisor said "SEE! We told ya he's good!"
To this day, everyone says how awesome our reception was. Without Mike, it would have been just another reception. With Mike, it was magic."

"We used Music Magic twice now. First time it was in the winter for our daughter's birthday party. Mike did a great job keeping 35 teenagers on the dance floor! Our daughter had such a great time with her friends, she decided to have a Halloween party. Since the kids enjoyed the music, we hired Music Magic again. Another party with 30 or so teenagers, and Mike did what he does best. He kept them on their feet! They had a blast! We will always use Music Magic for our private parties! Thank you Mike for keeping the kids busy, so we don't have to worry what they are up to!! :-)"

"Mike was the BEST DJ we could've asked for! We had a "challenging" group as we're a bi-racial couple who had guests from a broad background and love of music. As a couple we kept trying to figure out how to balance the music for all of our guests and were so stressed about how it would all work out. We voiced our concern to Mike who said "this is what I get paid for, I'll handle it don't worry!" And you know what he was more than right! Our guests danced and had a great time, Mike read our crowd and kept us informed of why he was making certain music choices because he knew we wanted a party and we definitely got what we wanted.
Mike also was good about keeping us informed on our time frames for cutting the cake, and first dance, etc! AND he even took requests from our 3 year old daughter and kept her happy too!!!! She still says "mommy I LOVED dancing at our party"! He did a good job playing songs we had requested and playing songs our guests requested!
It's been 10 days since our reception and our guests are STILL telling us how much fun they had and a couple of our guests have requested his information in hopes he'll be able to DJ their upcoming nuptuals. If we ever have a need for a DJ again, Mike will DEFINITELY be the person we call!"

"We hired a wedding coordinator for our ceremony and reception. At the last minute, our wedding coordinator cancelled on us. Trying to alleviate my fears, Mike Jones from Music Magic said we wouldn't need a coordinator. He said Music Magic would make sure the flow of the night would be exactly what we wanted.
I was so worried the morning of my wedding and then we met Mike that afternoon and I knew I didn't have to worry about a thing. He was so friendly and confident that the night was going to be perfect. Mike kept his word and then some. We did not have to worry about timing the entrance, the toasts, the cake cutting, and we didn't even have to worry about someone dimming the lights before the dance. Mike even made sure the cake table was moved from the dance floor so we could start our dance. He played all of our "must have" songs and even found a special hard-to-find German song for my grandmother.
And, to this day (sorry for returning our survey to you 8 months late) our friends and family are still talking about how awesome our DJ was and how it was the funnest wedding they have ever been to. When the venue turned the lights on at midnight, we still had a full dance floor.
